The New York Times calls Derek Tran's race in California's 45th District "the closest House race in the nation." Tran's lead over incumbent Michelle Steele increased Saturday by 26 to a total of 545 votes!
This race and Democrat Adam Gray's in CA-13 are two of just three House races in the country yet to be called. Both could still flip Republican seats as more votes are counted and the campaigns help voters "cure" ballots that were disqualified because of some kind of fixable mistake.
The NYT reports, "Ballot curing can reap additional votes for candidates." It is a labor intensive process that involves "contacting voters one by one."
We're continuing to mobilize local PCCC members to contact voters whose ballots have some kind of problem they must fix so they can be counted – but the window to do this is closing fast.

So long as there is still a path to win these seats in California, we are doing everything possible to count every vote!
Thanks for being a bold progressive.
