In 2024, public transit won 46 out of 53 ballot measures across the country—a 86.7%-win rate. With these approvals, over $25 billion has been dedicated by voters to strengthen and expand public transit nationwide.
These results underscore the importance of putting our public transit systems on the road to recovery by transforming them into the truly flexible, accessible, and sustainable mobility resource they can and should be for communities of all sizes.
