Ottawa County Unemployment Rate for October 2024
Preliminary unemployment rates for October 2024 were recently released by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. Ottawa County had an unemployment rate of 3.3%--no change from the September rate. Ottawa County had the second lowest rate of all Michigan counties in October.
Across Michigan, 71 counties saw their unemployment rate increase from September to October with a median increase of .3 percentage points. Livingston County had the lowest October unemployment rate at 3.2%. Oscoda County had the highest rate at 7.9%.
