Email from GOP New Jersey Auth Endorses Trump critic, Jon Bramnick Bob Auth's Endorsement of Jon Bramnick Auth bets against Trump, New Jersey, and Bergen County Fellow Conservatives, On Election Day, November 5th, and the days that followed, we came incredibly close to throwing New Jersey's 14 electoral votes to President Donald Trump. In fact, Republicans also came within striking distance of winning a Congressional seat in Bergen County, when conservative, and outspoken Trump supporter Billy Prempeh nearly took the 9th District. But honestly, could Billy really he have won? The simple answer is yes. New Jersey of course, had an uphill battle –but a lot of that came from our own party. Throughout the 2024 presidential campaign, Senator Jon Bramnick – a Republican In Name Only – arrogantly and repeatedly belittled President Trump - and his supporters. He called them names and sided with the Democrats claiming - on national television - that Trump could not be elected President and that he would never win. Bramnick, a 2025 GOP candidate for Governor, went so far as to say that he would not run if Trump won. That is how confidently smug they were that Trump would lose - not just New Jersey, but the presidency. Writing about Billy Prempeh’s near miss, Matt Rooney – editor of the conservative Save Jersey website, called out party leaders who wrote-off Trump - and then ignored MAGA candidates like Billy Prempeh, starving them of resources and much needed support. Rooney wrote that “a change in attitude among the GOP political and donor classes” was needed. Rooney added: “They need to start to come to terms with the fact that the mask-wearing TDS moms of affluent suburbs and their husbands who sit to pee... aren’t coming home to the Republican coalition anytime soon”. “The Establishment types ultimately need to forget what they think they know, step out of their comfort zones, and quit chasing people who will never love us. That’s exactly what the Trump campaign did this year, and it worked”. Bravo, Matt Rooney! The gubernatorial and legislative elections in 2025 should be more than simply choosing personalities. It should be about choosing the future direction of our state. Assemblyman Bob Auth, the current Assemblyman in District 39, has now openly endorsed Never-Trumper Jon Bramnick for Governor. His decision reveals more about Auth's true priorities than any campaign slogan ever could. "Tell me who you walk with, and I'll tell you who you are." By choosing to walk with those who have consistently undermined President Trump, and a Republican resurgence, Auth has shown us exactly where his loyalties lay - and it's not with us. Auth's self-serving embrace of Bramnick has also exposed his true position on parental rights. Bramnick joined with the Democrats and the NJEA to oppose efforts to keep pornography out of school libraries. Bramnick openly opposed Moms for Liberty and voted for what conservative Steve Lonegan has labeled “the Grindr Bill” which gives our children access to sex apps used by adults. In 2023, Auth and his current legislative team were instructed not to associate with Mom’s for Liberty, afraid that they would be labeled "extremists", the label Democrat-backed, Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) placed on Mom’s for Liberty. This reveals a disturbing lack of support for the very parents who are fighting for their rights and the well-being of their children. Auth's political love affair with Jon Bramnick adds fuel the broader county establishment’s disdain for President Trump and candidates like Billy Prempeh. His open criticism of Trump may have ultimately cost NJ Republicans a seat in Congress at a time when we needed every seat we can get. Bramnick and his allies have recklessly jeopardized the Republican surge in New Jersey! Bramnick's rhetoric might not only have cost Republicans a seat in Congress but may have also cost the party two seats in Bergen, where our two County Commissioner candidates came within approximately 2 percentage points of winning a county seat that the BCRO hasn't won in more than a decade! By aligning himself with Bramnick, Auth is not just undermining our Republican values, he has also placed Legislative District 39 in danger of losing in 2025 after coming off the worst legislative election performance in more than a decade giving up 45% of their 2021 win margin in only 24 months Assemblyman Auth and Senator Bramnick may have ultimately cost the Republican Party in New Jersey a once in a generation opportunity to capitalize on a growing resurgence in New Jersey. I’m asking you to join me in demanding that Assemblyman Bob Auth rescind his endorsement of Never-Trumper, RINO, Jon Bramnick for Governor. I’m also asking you to join me in demanding that the entire District 39 legislative team – including State Senator Holly Schepisi and Assemblyman John Azzariti – make it crystal clear that they will not support Never-Trumper Jon Bramnick for Governor lest they both be lumped in with Assemblyman Auth as the anti-parental rights, anti-grass roots, anti-Trump, Legislative team. It's time to abandon the status quo in Bergen County and initiate a conservative revival in Trenton. Let's restore the GOP to its foundational principles; and let's do it together. Thank you for supporting our conservative ideologies and our great Republican revival. Together, we will ensure that our county, our state and Legislative District 39 are not just pawns for political insiders but a beacon of conservative governance.
