Dear John,
We hope you and your loved ones are well. In these difficult times, we continue to be inspired by how people are stepping up to care for each other. Together our efforts are making a difference for communities around the world.
One example of that is AFSC's Farm to Food Bank project, which supports local farmers and provides fresh produce to thousands of New Mexico families. Another is in the realm of advocacy. We’re happy to report that the bill unveiled in the House earlier this week contains NO new funds for the Pentagon. Thanks again to the many who joined us in sending a message to Congress last month to say COVID-19 relief is for the people, not defense contractors. (Facebook)
