How much political power we build all depends on what we do now, Team. That’s why I’m glad we have you in our Collective fighting the good fight.
Because of your support, more people of color are serving in Congress than ever before. We elected a wave of Black leaders on the state, local, and federal level -- and now we have a true shot at putting another Black candidate on the presidential ticket.
There’s so much we’ve accomplished together. But we have to stay focused on our goal of building Black political power in 2019 and 2020. Are you in? We set an ambitious mid-month goal for our team and we need all hands on deck to get where we need to be.

Look, to strengthen our democracy, we must address the underrepresentation of African Americans in public office.
That’s why we’ve already trained 1,000 candidates and organizers to build power across the nation, so Black leaders can be the leading voices in our next elections. Meeting this mid-month goal will help us expand our organizing efforts and elect leaders who will address the challenges in our country head-on.
