Thanksgiving is four days away, and I’m feeling reflective. 2024 has been a whirlwind of a ride with so many ups and downs throughout the election cycle.
It has been an unprecedented year from start to end, as I know many of us are still processing the results of the presidential election. Despite the results of the presidential election, I can’t help but feel grateful that folks like you helped us hold NM-02 blue for two consecutive terms for the first time in over 40 years.
But truth be told, we have a lot of work ahead of us, John. As we enter another term under Donald Trump, we have to be prepared for every possible curveball Republicans could throw our way.
Make no mistake, New Mexico is a frontline for Democrats, and that makes us a TOP target of national Republicans.
So we need to start gearing up for the new term right now — because that’s what it’s going to take to continue fighting for freedom, democracy, reproductive rights and New Mexico.
