Team, you may not know this, but Mikie and her colleague, Virginia Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger, are roommates in Washington!

On a typical day, Abigail and Mikie are on Capitol Hill doing everything they can to make Washington work for the American people. Then, it’s back home to make dinner with whatever’s in the fridge and unwind on Abigail’s living room couch.

Mikie and Abigail have a lot in common, and it’s not just because they are roommates.

Both are running for governor to build on their mission to defend our country’s values and deliver results for working families. As two trailblazers who helped Democrats flip the House blue in 2018, they know that winning means listening to voters and meeting them where they are.

It means lowering the cost of housing and prescription drugs. It means making health care more affordable. It means investing in public education so our children can get ahead.

And while Mikie will be sad to leave her roommate and dear friend behind, she’s ready for her next mission: Get stuff done for New Jersey.
