Jared remains in the lead in Maine’s second district by 2,706 votes, but our opponent has filed for a hand recount - which is within his right to do so. With over 400,000 votes cast in the district, this recount could take weeks to complete.
We’re confident that a recount is unlikely to change the results with a lead of over two thousand votes, but our team needs to show up every day to make sure every vote is counted.
