Dear John,

Our family is growing and I wanted you to be among the first to know.

Please met Freyja (aka Sweet Little Ramona): 

Freyja is a rescue who joins canines Artemis and Count Ziggenpuss (aka
Ziggy), cats Silver and Sky, bearded dragon Sandman, and seven unnamed
chickens, four geckos and a horse named Teddy.

Molly’s training Freyja to sit and to not pee in the house. And this
morning Amy and I took her on the mountain to see what kind of shape she’s
in. (She did good.)

Spending time with this playful, curious puppy has been a nice break from
the news of the day.

We can only put it off for so long, but it’s nice while it lasts.
