Who is the Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness?

ACEH is the convening body for the Anchorage Homeless Response System (often referred to as the Continuum of Care).

How do I become an ACEH member?

Individuals and organizations interested in participating in ACEH are encouraged to fill out an ACEH Membership Application. This application offers membership and voting opportunities to guide ACEH and the Anchorage Homeless Response System (HRS) in its work to make homelessness in our community rare, brief and one-time.

Send completed forms to [email protected] with any questions you may have about membership.

Membership scholarships are available for an agency or individual who lacks the financial resources as determined by the HRS Advisory Council. Membership fees are waived for individuals experiencing homelessness or those with lived experience.

What if I am an existing ACEH member?

Membership renewal notices are sent in June to current members. Membership dues must be paid annually to remain “active”.

The Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness (ACEH) would like to invite you to our Anchored Home Response to COVID-19 Community Update on Thursday May 21, 2020

Anchored Home, Anchorage’s Strategic Plan to Solve Homelessness: 2018-2021, is a three-year tactical road map which draws on new tools and strategies while building on the community’s existing work and planning. Key pillars of Anchored Home include investing in Prevention & Diversion, strengthening the Anchorage Housing & Support System, ensuring Public Health &  Safety, and bolstering Advocacy & Funding. The goal is to ensure homelessness in Anchorage is a rare, brief and one-time event. To read more about Anchored Home, please visit our website at: https://anchoragehomeless.org/anchored-home/.

On May 21, 2020 at 6PM, join us on Facebook Live as we will host the Anchored Home Community Update where we will discuss Anchorage’s response to COIVD-19 and our work to help those experiencing or at risk of homelessness. You do not need a Facebook account to view the event, simply navigate to the following link to watch the live stream: https://www.facebook.com/AnchorageHomeless/live/. The update will be jointly led by Jasmine Boyle, Executive Director of the Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness (leading Housing & Support System efforts), Nancy Burke, Housing and Homelessness Coordinator from the Municipality of Anchorage (leading Public Health & Safety efforts),  Michele Brown of United Way (leading Prevention & Diversion efforts) and Dr. Richard Mandsager, a three-year Senior Fellow Executive-on-Loan by the Rasmuson Foundation (leading Advocacy & Funding efforts). Each pillar lead will share the work happening to move Anchored Home forward in Anchorage during the COIVD-19 worldwide pandemic.

Do you have questions for the Anchored Home team? What would like to know during the update? In order to best facilitate participation at our virtual meeting we kindly ask that you submit your questions in advance to  [email protected] by Friday, May 15, 2020. We hope to cover many of these questions in our presentation and in future communications from ACEH.

We look forward to you joining us at 6PM on Thursday May 21, 2020 for the Anchored Home Response to COVID-19 Community Update.
