Hey there. It’s Elana, Joe Biden’s Online Fundraising Director.
Even though we’ve been in this new reality of social distancing for quite some time now, I know your day-to-day must still feel very different and unusual. And I hope through it all, you are staying safe and doing well.
Here on the campaign, our daily lives and work still also feel a lot different, too, and I hope that you will take a minute to read this email and allow me to explain why I’m reaching out to ask for a $5 contribution before tonight’s mid-month deadline.
Every single day, we’re finding new ways to get our message out, and build new online communities. We’re mobilizing supporters on social media with the latest campaign content and messaging, and we’re even beginning to hold virtual rallies in battleground states!
Now, this new reality also means, and I know you’ve heard this before, that all of our fundraising takes place online. It’s true that folks like you taking the time to read and contribute through an email like this one is what allows us to reach our steep, but necessary, fundraising goals.
And frankly, we still need some more online contributions before midnight if we’re going to reach our May mid-month goal. A few days ago, we set this goal to be $2.5 million. I know it’s ambitious, but it’s not out of reach for this powerful team.
So if you’re in a comfortable position to donate tonight, I could really use your help to make sure we clear this goal. Please pick the contribution amount below that works best for you right now:

Every contribution you make is another piece of this campaign that you own -- and a signal that our movement to take our country back is just getting started.
Thanks for your help tonight. Because of your support, we’re going to win this thing.
