Warning: This email contains details of sexual misconduct that many may find disturbing. Please be advised.
Hi there,
In light of the recent news that Matt Gaetz has withdrawn as Trump’s pick for Attorney General, we wanted to send an email to unpack what this really means.
Matt Gaetz’s sexual misconduct has been headline news for years, but the truth is, many of the men that Trump has chosen for leadership positions within his administration have their own troubling backgrounds. Just because Gaetz seems to be out of the picture certainly doesn’t mean women are safe under this administration.
Additionally, nearly all of the men Trump has nominated have publicly expressed sexist, misogynistic, and outdated viewpoints about women’s roles in society.
It’s more critical than ever that we elect women up and down the ballot to serve as a representative voice in the checks and balances system as these men make decisions that could impact our everyday lives. Help us make that a reality by pitching in $25 or whatever you can today.

Here is a look at some of Trump’s picks:
To lead the Department of Health and Human Services, Trump nominated Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: According to Vanity Fair, a woman who worked as a nanny for Kennedy’s children described inappropriate behavior and sexual advances, including an incident in which Kennedy approached her from behind and allegedly groped her in a pantry. At the time, the woman was 23. Kennedy was 45 and married, with five children.
As The New York Times confirms, RFK Jr. has no medical or public health degree. Trump has appointed him to lead the agency tasked with regulating food and medicine for the American people.
For Defense Secretary, Donald Trump has selected Pete Hegseth: A 22-page police report was released earlier this week detailing rape allegations against Hegseth from 7 years ago. According to CNN, Hegseth’s attorney has acknowledged that he later entered into a settlement agreement with his accuser that included an undisclosed monetary payment and a confidentiality clause.
Hegseth is a Fox News host and veteran who has gone on record with his opinion that women should not have combat roles in the military. Despite this, he is Trump's pick to run the Pentagon and serve as our nation’s lead defense policymaker.
Elon Musk has been appointed to lead the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE): According to CBS News, eight employees of Musk’s company, SpaceX, have accused him of creating a hostile and abusive work environment “rife with sexual harassment” that demeaned women and the LGBTQ+ community. He has also been accused of exposing himself to a flight attendant…
Musk has been tasked with cutting, dismantling, and restructuring the federal government through this new department.
Every single one of these men has been accused of sexual misconduct, which isn’t surprising given that Trump himself has been accused of sexual misconduct by at least 15 women.
We CANNOT sit back and watch our government become overrun with misogynists and sexual predators. We need women in government with these men to hold them accountable and protect our rights. Help us continue the work to elect WOMEN to office by pitching in $25 or more today →
