The National Science Foundation, one of the biggest funders of scientific research, has quietly funneled billions of dollars into progressive social engineering disguised as “academic research.” And this so-called “research” is shaping the next generation of scientists—not to innovate, but to toe the woke line.
An official Senate report just exposed that over one-quarter of NSF funding now flows into these ideological crusades. Here are just a few examples:
- Over $1 million for “story work for racial equity.” Not research—storytelling.
- Almost $600,000 to explore “sex/gender narratives” in biology to “support” transgender, nonbinary, and gender-nonconforming students.
What does this have to do with science? Nothing. Yet, unless you declare allegiance to DEI, scientists are denied NSF funding meant to advance our nation’s research. Instead of exploring new frontiers, they’re forced into ideological activism to keep their labs running.
