Join Seattle DSA to help build affordable social housing in Seattle by taxing wealthy corporations!
We’ll be doorknocking to educate voters about funding affordable social housing.

Door knocking is one of the best ways to reach voters about an issue, and you’ll be knocking doors alongside folks who have talked to hundreds – some even thousands – of voters!

Canvassing will usually last for a couple hours after a short training session at the beginning about best door knocking practices. The only thing you need to bring is a mobile phone and why you want to have social housing for your Seattle neighbors.

What is Proposition 1A (formerly I-137)? Read more about the initiative.

Have you ever

  • Wanted more rights at work?

  • Wanted to fight back against the corporate class?

  • Been thinking “I need a union?” but don’t know how to make it happen?

This workshop will teach you what you need to get started at your workplace!

This is intended for people currently at non-union workplaces who want to take the first steps toward organizing, whether you want to join an existing union, form a new one, or organizing demands of your boss without a union at all.

Our experienced labor organizers will teach you how to have an organizing conversation and how to form your Organizing Committee.

When we organize, we win!

Don’t forget about Labor Working Group’s upcoming social on Sunday as well!

We are raising money for the relief funds of Florida DSA, NC Triangle DSA, and Asheville DSA. These are direct funds to projects helping them recover from the hurricanes. All three chapters have been working tirelessly beside local mutual aid organizations to help residents survive this climate crisis fueled by capitalism's disregard for the planet in pursuit of endless profit.

Your donations will go toward funding supplies and distributions, hot meals, on-site free markets and help centers for mobile shower and laundry services, solar charging stations while places still go without power, alongside the much needed flood clean up and rescue efforts. Residents require a grassroots solidarity efforts to survive while the state and local governments drag their feet responding to the calls for aid, clean up, rent freezes, and eviction moratoriums.

When the working class fights together, we win. When we stand in solidarity, we are unshakable.

Seattle DSA will be collecting donations through this link until November 30th. The funds will be tallied and distributed evenly to the chapters the first week of December.
