Disaster relief funding is now depleted, leaving communities recovering from recent wildfires and hurricanes without vital federal assistance. I helped introduce a bill to redirect unused COVID resources to the Disaster Relief Fund.
This week, the House Committee on Natural Resources passed the ROUTES Act I’m leading to streamline tools for federal land management partners to repair National Forest trails and sites.

My bipartisan bill passed to counter North Korean aggression.
Alzheimer's disease is the third leading cause of death in older adults in Orange County and seventh leading cause of death worldwide. With more resources dedicated to tackling this global challenge, we can save lives.

Beijing’s weaponization of Hong Kong’s legal system is a blow to human rights and judicial independence.
Humbled to receive the Champion of Freedom Award this week from the Free Jimmy Lai Campaign. I introduced the Hong Kong Sanctions Act to hold accountable those who crackdown on freedom and will keep standing up for human rights.
U.S export programs that are meant to counter the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) should work as intended. I’m proud to lead a bipartisan bill which allows the U.S. to lead in emerging technologies and better compete against the CCP.
