Global Industry Leader TSMC To Build Advanced Semiconductor Factory In Arizona ([link removed])
Governor Ducey this week announced that following a national search, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has selected Arizona for its new U.S. advanced semiconductor factory. The project will create over 1,600 new high-tech jobs and total spending on this project, including capital expenditure, will be approximately $12 billion from 2021 to 2029.

Over $8 Million Donated For Coronavirus Relief Efforts ([link removed])
The Office of Governor Ducey this week announced that more than $8.2 million has been donated to the AZ Coronavirus Relief Fund to support COVID-19 relief efforts. More than $175,000 of the total donation amount is from private citizens. Additionally, ADHS and ADE have received in-kind donations of PPE and computer equipment, totaling more than $258,000.

Arizona Enrichment Centers To Offer Child Care To Grocery Store, Food Bank Employees ([link removed])
Governor Ducey announced this week that the Arizona Enrichment Centers Program will expand to offer prioritized child care for the children of grocery store employees and food bank workers. Governor Ducey announced this week a $100,000 grant from the AZ Coronavirus Relief Fund to programs across the state supporting Arizona kids with special needs who have been impacted by COVID-19. The funding will help these organizations continue to adapt and offer new services amid the pandemic, including conducting video conference check-ins and more.
