I’m as aghast as you are at the quality of appointments coming out from the Trump transition team.

From Dr. Oz to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to a puppy's worst nightmare Kristi Noem, it’s becoming more and more important that we have strong Democrats at the state level to defend our rights and defend against the chaos happening in Congress and the White House.

While we’ve all had some time to rest after the past election, our work is truly just beginning.

The next big fight for our rights anywhere in the country will be right here in Virginia. Our 2025 elections will not only allow us to enshrine abortion into law across the Commonwealth, grow the middle class, and invest in our children’s education – but it will also be an opportunity to send a stark referendum to the Trump White House.

We need to show Trump and the Republicans that voters DO support a woman’s right to choose, that we DO want strong schools for our children, and that we DO want to defend the middle and working class with common-sense economic policies.
