John,
We have a message for the out-of-touch Democrats who have cozied up to corporate interests, Super PACs, and billionaires: It’s time to clean up shop.
As we told Salon, we’re putting the Democratic Party establishment on notice.
For too long, Party leadership has tried to be a big tent that somehow includes the working class and the billionaire class. They continue to allow our party to align with the wealthiest few, and as we saw with the Democrats’ loss of the House, Senate, and presidency this November, everyday people are beginning to take notice.
If the communities in deep-blue congressional districts are not being served by their current representatives, we will work to find progressive, working class candidates to challenge them.
Justice Democrats is gearing up to recruit the next generation of leaders to transform the Democratic Party and prioritize everyday people again, but since we don’t take a dime from corporations, we’re relying on contributions from grassroots supporters like you to get the job done.
In solidarity,
Justice Democrats
