This week, I had the opportunity to meet with some of President-elect Donald Trump's great cabinet picks, all of whom are very familiar faces. I know Elise Stefanik will be an excellent representative at the United Nations. She will work tirelessly to put out fires Biden and Harris set on the world stage. I can say the same of Doug Collins's work ethic. He will bring much needed change to the Department of Veterans Affairs and see to it that our heroes are taken care of. Pete Hegseth is a decorated combat veteran, and the right man for the job. I look forward to each of these Senate confirmations.

Manufacturers are a vital part of the American and Oklahoman economy. Any hindrances on them would have disastrous effects. That being said, I joined U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) and 18 of our Senate GOP colleagues in a letter to President Biden asking that he reverse course on a potential plastics treaty that would harm such a vital industry. We cannot afford to continue bowing to far-left environmental groups.

Chuck Schumer is scared of an incoming President Trump; he's doing everything he can to stop the America First agenda. That includes trying to push as many liberal judges as he can through at the eleventh hour. What he was not expecting was the Senate GOP standing in the way. On Wednesday, I participated in the McAlester Stampede with my colleague U.S. Senator James Lankford (R-OK), and leaders in the Oklahoma defense community. Oklahoma is home to five world class military installations, including McAlester, and I have the privilege to advocate for them everyday.

President Biden and his administration continue to forget about the Constitution and specifically the Tenth Amendment. So much so, that they are denying Oklahomans crucial Title X funds due to the Sooner State's pro-life, pro-family laws. Because of this, myself, Oklahoma's congressional delegation, and many of our GOP colleagues signed onto an Amicus Brief asking the Supreme Court to review the lower courts' decision on the matter.

I've put six kids through public schools, and I think I speak for a lot of parents when I say I want education to be as local as possible. We should not have a nanny state in Washington dictating what our children learn and extorting states for their compliance. On Wednesday, I joined Blake Burman on NewsNation to discuss this and how incoming President Trump will fight for American workers by leveling the playing field.
