Our amicus brief exposes the porn industry

** We did something big yesterday.
------------------------------------------------------------
Our Director of Public Policy filed a jarring 38-page amicus brief to the United States Supreme Court, exposing the harmful nature of porn—most of which is freely accessible to kids.
The Supreme Court scheduled a hearing for oral arguments on January 15th to decide if the recent wave of age verification laws are constitutionally legal.
This age verification process would require site users to prove they’re 18+ before they can be exposed to traumatizing pornographic content.
Kids are suffering depression, experiencing sexual addictions, and sexually assaulting other kids because of their exposure to porn.
We’ve been advocating for laws to shield kids from porn since 2021, through our Protect Children Not Porn campaign.
After some truly remarkable wins—19 states have recently passed these laws—the porn industry is fighting back.
But with your help, we’re more committed than ever to seeing these laws pass, because the stakes are too high.
Kids who get addicted to porn often grow up to become sex buyers, whose money fuels sex trafficking.
These age verification laws are foundational to uprooting trafficking and sexual exploitation from our world.
Help keep this campaign going strong to ensure age verification passes in all 50 states, and in countries around the world.
Give to our year-end campaign on GivingTuesday, December 3, when EVERY DOLLAR you give will be DOUBLED, thanks to a generous donor!
