All Americans deserve affordable health care, John. It’s as simple as that.
When we launched this campaign, we had no idea that our country would be facing an unprecedented pandemic. But this much was always clear -- and is only increasingly important: Health insurance and prescription drug prices are too high and entirely out of reach, and the absence of strong social safety nets only exacerbates the blow of a crisis. John, Carolyn’s consistently been on the frontlines in arguing for expanded access to affordable health care, increased preventative care, and against punishing people for preexisting conditions. But she also believes we can go further by providing a low-deductible Public Option to compete with private insurers and expand coverage while we work towards health care for all.
