The 2024 election results are FINALLY in – and Senate Republicans
WON BIG thanks to your help!
For the first time since 1980 (44 years!), we OUSTED an incumbent
Democrat Senator in a Presidential General Election. Republican Steven
Choi unseated Democrat Josh Newman with over a 6,200 vote margin in
Orange County.
As your Republican Leader, I’m committed to growing our
representation—and that’s exactly what we’ve accomplished. Senate
Republicans are thrilled to enter 2025 with 10 members in our caucus,
up from 8 members just one year ago.
Republicans are not only growing in numbers, but we’re also growing
more diverse. For the first time in history, the Senate Republican
Caucus has a majority of women, with three of the six women senators
being Latina.
Not only did Republicans WIN, but voters overwhelmingly rejected
Democrats’ radical agenda on critical ballot initiatives:
- Prop 5 failed by a wide margin, sending a strong message to
Sacramento Democrats that we don’t want higher property taxes.
- Prop 32 to raise the state’s minimum wage failed, the first
failure of such an initiative nationwide in almost 30 years.
- Prop 36 passed by a landslide, ushering in a new era where crime
is illegal again and criminals are held accountable.
Voters also threw out liberal, soft-on-crime District Attorneys in
Alameda County (Pamela Price) and Los Angeles County (George Gascon),
and unseated left-wing San Francisco Mayor London Breed.
Thank you to everyone who chipped in, shared our message, and voted
Republican this election. We couldn’t have done this without you.
Despite the best efforts of Democrat politicians to stop us, we are
FIXING CALIFORNIA.
Now that the election is over, the real battle begins at our State
Capitol. Gas prices could go up 90
cents next year. Our state is facing a budget deficit (again). And
Democrats are still pushing early release for criminals.
As your Senate Republican Leader, I’m bringing you weekly updates
from Sacramento to EXPOSE the Democrat majority. If you know anyone
who has had enough of failed policies, corrupt politicians, and broken
