How does the past take shape? What happens in the process of coming to terms with the past? What social repercussions are associated with the rooting of history in monuments and memorials? These questions and many others are at the center of our new project, Shaping the Past, a partnership between Monument Lab, the Goethe-Institut, and the Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung (German Federal Agency for Civic Education/bpb).
Thanks to the enthusiasm in response to our first two installments of "Watch-Klatsch: Babylon Berlin," which dealt with the first four episodes of Season One, we have decided to continue the season! Join us on May 21 for episodes 5-6 and on May 28 for episodes 7-8. If you're in the mood for more virtual programming, our Deisgn for Everyone series continues on May 22 with "An Intro to Urban Planning & Design" – an introductory lecture on the elements of urban planning.
