As Trump’s choice to lead the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Dr. Oz would be a disaster. Oz owns stock in big for-profit health corporations like CVS and UnitedHealth — which have long funded anti-Medicare for All efforts because they stand to gain big from Medicare privatization.
The Senate must stop Oz and the destruction of Medicare.

One of our greatest organizing goals under Trump must be protecting Social Security and Medicare. Without these long-running and extremely popular social programs, tens of millions of people would lose health coverage and the benefits they need to live.
Republicans have spent decades trying to slash these programs, and now, they have the best chance they’ve ever had. And Medicare has already been partially privatized through Medicare Advantage — a boon for the companies Dr. Oz owns stock in.
We must wage this fight now against Dr. Oz and show Congress and the Trump admin that we won’t let the GOP destroy Medicare.
