Winter Wonderland now open in Old Market Square
Winter Wonderland

With more than 80 Christmas market stalls, the Sky Skate Ice Path and ice rink, Ice Bar, Sur La Piste and Altitude chalet bars, and Observation Wheel, the annual Winter Wonderland attraction is expected to welcome one million visitors this festive season.

It's therefore worth noting that the following dates will be very busy with people travelling into Nottingham:

* Saturday 14 December
* Saturday 21 December

A52 drainage works under way with diversion

National Highways started a three-week programme of essential drainage improvements on the A52 between Bramcote Island and Bardills Roundabout on Monday.

These are overnight works between 8pm and 6am. For safety reasons, the A52 will be closed during those hours between the two junctions. During closures, a fully-signed diversion will be in place and access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout.

Roadworks continue on Queens Drive

Our Transforming Cities Fund project to add three safe crossings for cyclists and pedestrians to Queens Drive and Meadows Way moved into a new phase this week, with works starting in Queens Drive. This has seen one lane at a time suspended during off-peak (9.30am - 3.30pm) hours only.

From now until Friday 29 November, we are resurfacing Queens Drive between Crossgate Drive and past Tottle Road junction. Hours of work will be 8pm to 6am, Monday to Friday.
