And she was among a group of Republicans who showed up to support the 78-year-old con man at his porn star hush money criminal trial that ended in May with a conviction on 34 felony counts. AND on top of all that, she just so happens to be the sister of Elon Musk's securities fraud lawyer and is in prime position to shut down that investigation. Neat!

In 2017, a woman told police that Hegseth sexually assaulted her after barring the door to her hotel room and seizing her cell phone. The police report was released to the media on Thursday. Hegseth, who has repeatedly denied wrongdoing, was never charged, but he did quietly pay the alleged victim off last year to stymy an imminent lawsuit.
