Here’s the truth, John: We’re coming up on a big deadline tomorrow, and we need to make sure we have the resources to run the kind of campaign it will take to give Mitch McConnell and Thom Tillis a run for their money.
The only way we will is if as many folks like you as possible pitch in to make a meaningful difference. So, I’m asking:
Will you add a donation of $10 or more to our campaign before the mid-FEC fundraising deadline tomorrow? I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important.

Our campaign is a stark contrast to Senator Tillis’ campaign, which is propped up by corporate special interests pouring millions into his operation to save him and keep their grip on this Senate seat.
Don’t get fooled, John. Tillis is one of the most unpopular Senators in the country — and apparently, Trump and Washington Republicans don’t like his chances against me in November. That’s why they’re dumping tens of millions into our election.
It’s also why Tillis booked $4.4 million in ads for the fall. That’s as much as we’ve raised in all of the first quarter of this year.
We need to catch up so we don’t fall behind. Unlike Tillis, I’m refusing to accept a single contribution from corporate PACs because I have something more powerful in my corner: Folks like you, pitching in a few dollars at a time because you believe in what we’re doing together.
So, can I count on you to add a donation of $10 or more before the deadline and help us reach our goal? We can send a powerful message about the kind of people-centered campaign we’re running, but it all comes down to how you respond right now.

Thom Tillis is weak: We see it in the polls. We see it in his approval rating. And we see it in the energy from folks across this state who are ready for new leadership.
Together, we’re going to create the change North Carolina deserves. Thanks for everything.
