As I conclude my new member orientation in our nation’s capital, we have already started to get to work on behalf of Maryland's Second District.
Earlier this week, I was proud to stand alongside our delegation as one of the newest members of Team Maryland where I recommitted to leveraging my experience working across the aisle to deliver results for all of us.

In that spirit, this week I was also elected to serve as the freshman class representative to the powerful Democratic Steering and Policy Committee! This is one of just three leadership positions available to freshman members. It will provide me the opportunity to advise on major policy issues and ensures Maryland has another seat at the table to help drive progress for us all.
