Come and meet Bjorn the Polar Bear in Oldham tomorrow

A giant polar bear will be roaming the town tomorrow (Saturday 23 November) as part of our unforgettable Christmas festivities.

Bjorn the bear will be at Tommyfield Market Hall at 11.30am, 12.45pm and 2pm.

Get ready to snap some photos and experience the Arctic in Oldham.

Hitting all the right notes with Oldham Music Service this Christmas

Talented musicians will be performing some Christmas classics in the Queen Elizabeth Hall.

First up are the stars of tomorrow – the Junior Festival takes place on Tuesday, 3 December at 7pm.

Then the day after, on Wednesday, 4 December at 7.30pm, it’s the Music Centre’s annual Christmas Festival featuring the borough’s best young singers and musicians.

And even more crackers will be served up at the annual Christmas Concert for Community Musicians at 7.45pm on Wednesday 18 December at Royton Band Club, Sandy Lane, Royton, OL2 5QP.
