Jeff Bezos is on pace to become the first Trillionaire. 

Despite a global pandemic, unemployment around 20% and

millions of closed businesses, Jeff Bezos continues to build

his wealth on the backs of working class people. Since the onset

of this devastating crisis, the Amazon founder and CEO has

added a disgusting $24 billion dollars to his net worth. In that

same time, seven Amazon workers have died because of a lack

of workplace protections. 

So, while workers are literally fighting for survival,

corporations and their leaders are making billions of

dollars. 

Help us end this system of exploitation! 

Let’s be honest, no one earns a billion dollars, they steal it! 

They steal it from each and everyone of us. They take money

that can provide everyone in this country with health insurance

for free. They take money that could be used to pay for millions

of college tuitions. They steal money that could make our planet

and our energy infrastructure sustainable. Worst of all, they steal

money that should be used to provide living wages, benefits and

sick pay to workers. 

All while telling us these things aren’t possible. 

This is the broken system we must fix!

This system only continues because our representatives are

beholden to it. They take money from corporations like Amazon

and never challenge them. When in Congress I will fight

companies like Amazon, not work for them. 

Every week I serve as the Congressman from NY-5, I will

introduce legislation that puts an end to this corrupt exploitative

system. I will not stop until this country makes working

families a priority. 

Here’s what we will introduce/support:

1. Legislation that breaks up monopolies like Amazon and

    Facebook. 

2. Wealth tax so that we can provide healthcare and

    education to every American.

3. Legislation that increases income and capital gains taxes

    on people like Jeff Bezos. 

4. Legislation that ensures companies like Amazon, who

    paid $0 in taxes  on $11 billion dollars of profit last year,

    pay the American people what we’re owed.

5. Legislation that forces companies like Amazon to provide

    living wages, full benefits and comprehensive protections

    for workers. 

6. Legislation that prevents companies from moving

    operations overseas, stripping millions of people from

    their jobs and exploiting working class people in other

    countries. 

Together, we are going to end the age of the billionaire and make

sure that no trillionaire ever exists. 

We are not beholden to corporations, because we do not accept

their contributions. We are people powered by folks like you.
