Our team was happy to receive good news regarding Tom’s conservative record from the American Conservative Union Foundation (ACUF), host of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). And since the past several weeks have brought a lot of bad news, we wanted to share this with you.
Last week, the ACUF released its annual Congressional ratings which are intended to communicate to constituents how well their representative is reflecting their conservative principles in D.C. We are happy to announce that Tom was the only member of Minnesota’s delegation to receive an award for his conservative voting record. He also received the highest score (88%) of the delegation for standing by the conservative values that you elected him to uphold.
It was no surprise to us that Tom votes in accordance with his conservative values, but it was very disappointing to see that out of Minnesota’s seven Democratic representatives and senators, six earned the distinction of “Coalition of the Radical Left” from the ACUF by earning scores ranging from 0% to 7%. The ACUF also found that the Radical Left is becoming more radical, as their average score fell from 8% in 2018 to 3% in 2019 (also not shocking).
