Yesterday, I asked my staff to meet and talk virtually about where our fundraising stands – and whew! I’m simply inspired to see the names of all the people who have given to support us as we fight for hardworking Floridians in Washington.

But I pored over the numbers again this morning, and I looked at our $5,000 mid-month goal that we need to reach by midnight – and I’ve got to be honest: we’re close, but we’re not where we need to be.

I know this is a tough moment for families across the country, and I hope you are staying safe and healthy, friends. At a time when people are out of work and struggling to put food on the table, we have a president unable to lead and his party in the Senate unable to govern.

And since House Democrats are the only firewall against his wrongdoing, his campaign is targeting me directly – because he knows there's no holding onto power without Florida and without flipping the House red. I'm counting on this team – counting on you – more than ever to make sure we have what we need to fight a winning campaign in the fall.

I'm sitting now to watch the names come in, and I would love to know you're standing with us before this deadline expires at midnight.
