VP Harris and Governor Walz ran a historic campaign, and their agenda promised to help build a better future for all Americans – however, this momentum does not go away. We saw the fruits of their labor in the incredible results with Emerge candidates because of you and your support.

This past year, we had incredible candidates run all across this country for local, state, and federal office – from school boards to Congress across 20 states. Emerge left a big imprint on the most consequential election of our lifetime. More than 550 Emerge alums ran for office and more than 340 won their races with a win rate of around 70%!

As an organization that centers women of the New American Majority (NAM) in our training programs—Black, Brown, and Indigenous women and women of color, as well as young, LGBTQ+, and unmarried women— Emerge alums are candidates of their communities, meaning that they are exactly the type of down-ballot candidates who drive change and fight back against the MAGA Republican agenda.

This is what Emerge does best – recruit and train the right candidates with the right message to run in the right districts. And our work is just getting started as we’re ramping up our efforts to recruit and train our new class of Democratic women.
