Last night we were joined by special guests Senator Jacky Rosen and Adam Met (from AJR and Planet Reimagined) for our post-election debrief event. Together, we had a productive discussion on what is next for our climate future, and the steps we will take to ensure our climate progress does not move backwards.
Right now, we need to put pressure on Congress to act before the year ends to support communities on the frontlines of climate change. We need your help to contact your lawmakers today to ask them to take the following actions before the end of the year.
- Fully fund the government and the federal agencies that protect our clean air and water
- Pass a disaster supplemental bill to help communities deal with the destruction caused by catastrophic weather, including Hurricanes Helene and Milton
- Pass the climate-smart farm bill for the next 5 years
