Missed our poll? Here’s a quick recap: We asked respondents to share their top policy priorities for 2025 from eight options, allowing them to choose as many as they wanted. These four issues stood out as the most selected:

• Restoring the rule of law at the border: Our broken immigration system needs fixing, and AFP is driving principled solutions that secure the border and create accessible and flexible legal pathways for those ready to better themselves and our great country.

• Balancing the federal budget: With 89% of survey respondents demanding fiscal responsibility, Americans are fed up with reckless spending. AFP is fighting for reforms like the Comprehensive Congressional Budget Act to curb inflation, reduce debt, and restore accountability.

• We’re facing a fiscal cliff in 2025: A series of critical economic deadlines could shake our economy to its core — hitting the debt limit, the possible extension of outdated COVID-era subsidies, and the expiration of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Most Americans will see their taxes go up if Congress fails to act. Let’s make sure Washington hears us loud and clear: No more tax hikes.

• Many of you said that accountability for elected officials is important: This year, we saw lawmakers who voted for big spending bills that drove inflation lose their seats in Washington. AFP will continue its 20-year tradition of working with millions of grassroots advocates to drive change and hold leaders accountable for expanding freedom and opportunity.
