Hi John,
In a monumental step forward for state-based climate action, the Oregon Environmental Quality Commission (EQC) just voted to restore the state’s landmark Climate Protection Program. These investments from the Climate Protection Program are especially important now that we can’t rely on climate leadership at the federal level. Will you take action to thank the EQC and Governor Tina Kotek on this huge win for climate in Oregon? [[link removed]]
The CPP will hold big polluters accountable for their harm against people and the environment, reducing pollution by 90% and fining companies that don’t comply. It will also invest upwards of $150 million annually in clean energy projects for frontline Oregon communities most impacted by climate damage.

It’s time to thank the EQC Commissioners and Governor Tina Kotek for these historic climate and community protections [[link removed]]. The CPP will help Oregon stay on track to achieve science-based emissions reductions and deliver impactful investments for environmental justice communities across the state.
Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
