Building a Cleaner, Safer, and More Connected Future for Our State

This week, I was thrilled to announce the

Colorado Transportation Vision: 2035 , which outlines our shared goals to make living in Colorado more convenient and less expensive by providing easy, affordable, and safe options that get Coloradans where we need to go, all while protecting our clean air and reducing traffic and emissions.

Coloradans deserve to have more safe and reliable transportation choices, whether it’s taking a bus or train, biking, or walking. By expanding these options, we aim to reduce traffic for all drivers and save Coloradans time and money.

We are bringing this vision to life by expanding bus and train services, adding 1,345 miles of new bike lanes and 3,540 miles of new sidewalks, prioritizing transit-friendly housing, and much more.

I’m proud of our administration's progress in funding new transportation projects, enhancing transit opportunities, limiting emissions to protect our clean air, and building a world-class intercity passenger rail line. This vision builds upon our efforts to create new intercity long-distance bus services and sustain nearly

$200 million of annual investments in transit and rail service .

I look forward to achieving this through working with our local, state, federal, and private sector partners.
