John, I’ve spent the past two weeks reflecting. I can’t say I’ve had any groundbreaking revelations or figured out how to save the country quite yet; but I do want to share some thoughts about where we go from here.

I won’t lie — we have a long road ahead of us. And right now, a lot remains uncertain.

But I do know a few things for sure:

  1. We are on the side of justice.
  2. We sure as hell aren’t going to give up this fight, and as we keep going…
  3. We will have each other to lean on.

When Take Back the Court was founded, people told us that rebalancing the court was a pipe dream. In the several years since, this movement has become even stronger and more powerful than we imagined. Court reform has earned the support of hundreds of organizations, elected officials and thought leaders from all across the Democratic coalition, and public opinion has turned firmly in our favor — all thanks to supporters like you.

We’re so grateful for everything you’ve done, and we look forward to having you by our side in the months and years ahead.

Today, even now, there’s important ways you can make your voice heard and help prevent a further rightward shift in our broken judicial system. Currently, 24 Biden-nominated judges remain in limbo, waiting on action from the Senate before they can be confirmed.

As Donald Trump prepares to stack the judiciary with as many far-right extremists as he can find, every seat on every court counts. Senate Democrats must do whatever it takes to confirm these nominees before the new Congress swears in. Will you help urge them to get it done?

We’ll be back in your inbox soon with more on our fight to push back against this out-of-control MAGA court and protect our rights and freedoms. But in the meantime, I want you to know how grateful I am.

Onwards,

Sarah Lipton-Lubet

President, Take Back the Court Action Fund
