While we fight to stop Trump’s most horrific, racist plans in their tracks, we also have a chance to challenge him on populist promises like capping credit card interest rates at 10%. Either he works with Bernie to take on the big banks — or else he gets exposed as the fraud we’ve seen for 8 years. Either way, we have Bernie’s back.
It’s time to call the GOP’s bluff. Democrats can push legislation for the working class like raising the federal minimum wage, taxing the rich, raising teacher pay, expanding Social Security, and more — and Republicans will be forced to show where they really stand — with the ultra-rich and corporations, not the working class.

One of the levers of power that Bernie and Democrats hold now is the power to expose the GOP’s lies. The pressure will be ratcheted up on Trump and the GOP, especially with only a tiny GOP margin in the U.S. House.
No matter how many people in the billionaire class or leadership of the Democratic Party criticize Bernie for speaking the truth, we know our progressive fight is the way forward. And that means challenging and fighting Trump, and continuing our fight for the working class.
