Hello, it’s Andrew, the Executive Director for the WI Senate Dems.
While the results on the national level last Tuesday may not have been what we'd hoped for, we need to recognize our local wins here in Wisconsin.
Every single one of our must-win candidates had strong performances, with Kristin Alfheim, Brad Pfaff, Sarah Keyeski, Jamie Wall, and Jodi Habush Sinykin securing key seats critical to breaking the Republican supermajority.
These wins represent major steps toward our ultimate goal: a Democratic majority that reflects the needs and values of our communities.
Wisconsinites are ready for the change we’ve been building toward, and thanks to these victories, we have a strong pathway to flip control of the chamber in 2026.
Every single battleground district that will be essential to a 2026 majority voted for leaders like Kamala Harris, Tammy Baldwin, Gov. Tony Evers in 2022, and President Joe Biden in 2020, which is why we're confident in the work we're doing every day to achieve this.
Your support has been essential in achieving these wins, getting us energized and ready to build on that foundation. You helped fuel the campaigns, the outreach, and the grassroots momentum that made these results possible.
That's why today, from all of us at the WI Senate Dems, I want to thank you for standing with us and believing in a more representative and Democratic Wisconsin.
Our Democratic candidates are now ready to work for a Wisconsin that truly listens to your concerns and puts your needs first, and we're ready to continue helping them stand strong against any Republican opposition that tries to block progress, but it all depends on sustained support.
That's why we're asking you to stay on our side for the long run. Could you become a monthly donor, of even just $3, to help us keep our grassroots efforts going strong? >>
Together, we can keep up the fight!
In gratitude,
Andrew
WI SSDC Executive Director
