John -- when we say that the Department of Justice (DOJ), its Civil Rights Division, and efforts to defend the right to vote are under threat, this is exactly what we mean:
@CletaMitchell: Every lawyer in the Voting Section and likely in the Civil Rights Division needs to be terminated. They are not supportive of Pres Trump or MAGA. There has to be a reckoning. These are leftwing activists who have come from and should return to their leftwing organizations. [[link removed]]
That's Cleta Mitchell, a lead lawyer in the MAGA movement and a huge opponent of voting rights. She's led partisan groups as they organize "poll watchers" to challenge voters and try and turn them away, she's led lawsuits to restrict youth voting, and now she's advocating for the new administration to clear out our last line of federal defense to protect voting rights.
Attacking federal employees -- who protect our rights in a nonpartisan fashion -- is just the next step as opponents of voting rights try to remake our democracy in their image, where they get to pick and choose who gets to vote and whose voice doesn't count.
We've got to fight this, John, and not stop until we win in court, in Congress, in state legislatures, and at the ballot box. Fuel our work to defend voting rights with $25 or whatever you can today >> [[link removed]]

Listen, we'll be blunt -- if the DOJ's Civil Rights division was filled with ultra-partisan activists, don't you think voting in America would look a lot different than it does?
Opponents of voting rights like Cleta Mitchell attack these civil servants because they know -- even as non-partisan workers -- that they stand between the vote suppressors and their total control over our elections.
Backed by dark money billionaires, inside-the-beltway "think tanks", and state legislators who drank the Kool-Aid or are fearful of MAGA reprisals, opponents of voting rights are tweaking state laws, replacing nonpartisan officials, taking judicial seats, and more. Stopping them is going to take all of us .
We need you to stand with us as we prepare for state legislative sessions in 2025 and whatever opponents of voting rights try to pull off at the federal level. Chip in with $25 or however much you can right now to protect our right to vote >> [[link removed]]

Integrity First Voter Action Project is dedicated to expanding ballot access and increasing voter participation across the country.
Since the Supreme Court gutted key provisions in the Voting Rights Act, extreme politicians have taken advantage to pass harsh laws that restrict access to the ballot box. These restrictions particularly affect disadvantaged communities and people of color. It’s our goal to bring awareness to these laws wherever they may crop up and organize voters to take action to ensure the right to vote is available to everyone in their states and communities.
Your support is crucial to our efforts. Will you donate today to help us protect voting rights? [[link removed]]
