Last week Governor Josh Green appeared on CNN several times to caution against the appointment of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services in the incoming Trump administration.
 
“Children’s lives are on the line,” Governor Green said. “We already have challenges in some parts of America where we have lower rates of vaccination—and if you dip below a certain threshold of vaccination, you’ll see fatalities. Not just measles, mumps, and rubella, but we could see resurgences in other diseases like polio and meningitis.”

Speaking as an ER and family doctor, Governor Green stressed that it's simply too dangerous to appoint a vaccine denier and conspiracy theorist who has spread misinformation about the safety and effectiveness of life-saving vaccines to run the federal department responsible for our national vaccination policies.

“It should not be partisan, it should not be political, it should be about the well-being of our families,” Josh said. “Putting the wrong person at the head of HHS will hurt your children, it will hurt my children, it will hurt children all across America.”
