This is a huge win for justice—Matt Gaetz is one of Trump’s most loyal followers and would have been a disastrous choice for our nation as President-elect Trump seeks to weaponize our federal agencies against his political opponents.
Advocates like you were a huge part of this victory. Our two petitions urging the Senate to reject Gaetz and urging the Ethics Committee to release its report on his wrongdoing had nearly 20,000 signatures. That’s 20,000 member activists coming together to demand better for the Department of Justice and our nation.
