Dairy On-Farm Storage & Handling Grant Deadline Nearing

There are two weeks left to apply for the Northeast Dairy Business Innovation Center's *On-Farm Milk Storage & Handling Grant [ [link removed] ]*.

Dairy farmers can apply to receive funding for specialized equipment including:


* Milk storage tanks
* Milk pipelines
* Milk loading systems
* Glycol chillers
* Plate coolers/heat exchangers

*Awards will range from $15,000 to $50,000*, with a 25% cash or in-kind match requirement. Match waivers are also available. FSA low-interest loans and other grants are encouraged to supplement the project. Total funds available: $1,500,000.

Grants are available to applicants in 11 Northeast states, including Maine. 

*Applications close on **December 5, 2024, at 2 pm ET.***
