Hey JOHN— it’s time to get off the sidelines.

Trump’s going to purge any senior flag officers he perceives as “disloyal” when he retakes office. He’s going to use Purity Boards to do it — collections of what will probably be the most extreme true believers you can think of redlining any Three- or Four-Star General or Admiral they want out.

These Purity Boards will exist outside of the Military. They will report directly to Trump. They’ll have no checks on their power. And they will single out any and all senior officers that they believe will be loyal to the Constitution above Trump.

Do you want a direct path to permanently degrading our National Security, doing deep and lasting damage to the office corps? Do you want “Yes Men” and “Yes Women” who will roll over to Trump’s every command — with no consideration for the Constitution, civil rights, or the honor and dignity that serving in the most powerful Military in history demands?

Hell no.

Trump’s going to do everything he can to destroy the Military and remake it in his image. And we’re going to do everything we can to make sure the country knows that his administration is not just politicizing the Military, it’s not just getting rid of our most essential and seasoned officers.

This is the most serious threat environment any of us have seen in our lifetime. And Trump’s purge of the Military will make each and every American less safe.

We need you active, JOHN. We need you speaking out about this. And we need you with us.

If every single Veteran, every member of a Military Family, every supporter reading this email signed on we would have hundreds of thousands of people speaking out against Trump and these ridiculous and dangerous plans.
