With Thanksgiving just a week away, we wanted to ask you: Can you imagine celebrating this holiday without your family, friends or a Thanksgiving meal?

Many folks back home don't realize this, but the holiday season is often the toughest time of year for service members and their families.

Without the USO and your support, thousands of service members will spend Thanksgiving alone, without anything special to mark the day. For many of them, it's their first time being so far from home; others will miss their child's first Thanksgiving. They all deserve our deepest support during this difficult time of year.

That's why, as we get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving, we're so grateful to the NFL for MATCHING all gifts to provide Thanksgiving meals and other support year-round to our service members at military bases and USO Centers around the world.

But right now, we're falling short of our goal, and we need YOU to help us reach it by midnight tonight. Please give $37.50, $75 or whatever you can to help provide Thanksgiving meals and other critical support to service members around the world throughout the year.

Being far away from their loved ones during the holidays is just one of the many sacrifices our heroes in uniform make in service of our country. Though we may never be able to fully understand the challenges they and their families go through, we can make sure they enjoy a home-cooked meal this Thanksgiving.
