Partnership to End Addiction is the place families turn to for the answers they didn’t know they’d need. That's why we're kicking off our end of year fundraising season with Natalie's powerful story, which shows us that while discovering a child is using substances can be overwhelming, there is hope.
Learning that someone you love is struggling with opioid use can be scary and confusing. Natalie was shocked when her son overdosed on opioids – a situation she never expected.
In her family’s moment of crisis, she quickly realized that knowledge is power. Natalie educated herself about opioid use disorder, co-occurring disorders, and treatment options, which empowered her to support her son every step of the way.
