As 2024 draws to a close, I wanted to send you an important message. Thanks to your generosity, Reporters Without Borders has achieved a great deal for press freedom and the defence of journalists this year.

Today, however, we face a crucial challenge. Despite all of our efforts, and your continued support, the fundraising achieved so far in 2024 falls far short of our target and of our association's needs. We have done our utmost to optimise our resources and ensure that every donation has maximum impact, but this situation could jeopardise some of our plans for 2025.
