John, I’m grading papers right now while my students are at recess, but I needed to quickly email you to update you about our work at Teachers Unify to End Gun Violence.

We’re the only teacher-led non-profit actively working to end gun violence by amplifying the firsthand voices of educators.

Trust me, John, it’s hard to juggle teaching, fundraising, and advocating for gun violence prevention. But it’s worth every double-booked minute – and it’s already working.

Just this year alone, we’ve advocated for new safety measures, expanded existing laws for the better, and even celebrated the creation of a White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention.

Our movement is growing fast, but honestly, we need to raise more money.
